We are designated as the Social Care Network (SCN) Lead Entity for the Capital Region, Central NY, and North Country under New York’s 1115 Waiver Amendment’s SCN & Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) Program, responsible for ensuring a seamless end-to-end process for screening, navigation, and the delivery of services – including food, housing, and transportation to Medicaid Members. Supervise and assist Finance Liaisons and Billing Specialists in Healthy Alliance’s revenue cycle management, including billing Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and related SCN billing activities. Oversee SCN’s HRSN billable service submissions for timely submission and completeness; follow up with community-based organizations’ financial contacts, MCOs, and Medicaid as needed. Monitor partner HRSN billable claims and follow up on denied claims through correction, rebilling, and collection efforts. Manage remittance advice and posting in internal and external billing systems. Work with the Director, Revenue Cycle Management to maximize cash collections by monitoring open accounts receivable balances; review cash receipts and EOBs for proper billing and payment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet partner needs and ensure positive partner experiences. Hold weekly check-in meetings with Finance Liaisons, Billing Specialists, and partners; identify partner needs and connect to Healthy Alliance stakeholders. Use Healthy Alliance tools to inform partner communications and meetings; maintain project timelines and communicate expectations to internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate alignment with Healthy Alliance’s vision, mission, and goals. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent experience (e.g., accounting or business-related fields). Professional Work Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in government/health care payor billing and revenue cycle management, including Medicaid and MCOs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all levels of management. Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.). Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership skills to guide and manage a team. Ability to adhere to Healthy Alliance core competencies and values. Benefits
