Overview
External Wholesaler – Raymond James Investment Management – Remote/Chicago Metro Area. This role builds and manages relationships with regional wirehouses, financial advisors/brokers, and agents to generate production/sales revenue from financial products within a territory. The position involves leading projects with cross-functional teams and delivering comprehensive solutions to complex problems, with extensive client contact to sell financial products and revenue for the company. Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors to generate assets within a specific territory. Educate financial advisors on the benefits of offered products and services through individual or group presentations, including branch visits, seminars, and conferences/trade shows. Develop and implement wholesaling business plans for the territory to meet sales goals. Presents sales activities at weekly wholesaling meetings. Maintain wholesaling activity logs/databases to track broker profiles and sales activity. Collaborate with internal wholesalers to achieve sales goals by leveraging referrals, ad campaigns, and territory canvassing. Manage expense accounts within allotted budgets. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge Of
Fundamental concepts, principles, and practices of the securities industry and asset management products. Broker/dealer operations. Skills
Identify customer needs through effective questioning and listening. Organize, manage, and track multiple tasks with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Prepare and deliver clear, professional sales presentations to varied audiences. Problem solve to analyze, research, and resolve inquiries and issues promptly. Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities. Operate standard office equipment and software to produce reports and communications. Ability To

Assimilate strategies into operational guidelines and work independently or collaboratively. Establish clear directions and priorities. Educational/Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field and a minimum of two (2) years in the financial services industry. Or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources. Licenses/Certifications
SIE required (exemption or grandfathering not applicable). FINRA Series 7 and ability to obtain other necessary licenses within sixty (60) days of hire. Education
Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Marketing Work Experience
General Experience - 3 to 6 years Certifications
Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) Salary and Travel
Salary range: $80,000.00 - $75,000.00 (note: typical salary adjustments apply). Travel: Up to 75% Workstyle
