Claims Representative I
Location This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. Hours A flexible 8‑hour shift Monday - Friday, hours of operation are 6 am - 6 pm EST.
Job Description The Claims Representative I is responsible for successfully completing the required basic training. Able to perform basic job functions with help from co‑workers, specialists and managers on non‑basic issues, and must pass the appropriate pre‑employment test battery. This position works under direct supervision, relies on others for instruction, guidance, and direction, and its work is reviewed for technical accuracy and soundness.

Codes and processes claims forms for payment ensuring all information is supplied before eligible payments are made.
Researches and analyzes claims issues.
Minimum Requirements
Requires HS diploma or equivalent and related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Qualifications
Good oral and written communication skills, previous experience using PC, database system, and related software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) strongly preferred.
Previous experience working in health claims is strongly preferred.
Salary For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary range for this specific position is $15.90 to $27.28.
