Join the Amazon Prime Air Team! We are seeking an experienced Sr. Global Commodity Manager to join our team in Seattle, WA, or Austin, TX. This role manages categories including Electromechanical and EE commodities, with sourcing beyond these categories as needed. This position offers a chance to impact the company's success significantly. Export Control License: This role may require an export control license to comply with applicable laws. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to secure this license on your behalf. Key job responsibilities
Design and implement supply chain and commodity strategies across categories and regions, focusing on network optimization and tactical execution. Lead complex initiatives independently, developing innovative solutions and managing cross-functional relationships with organizational impact. Create scalable processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain resilience. Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply-demand patterns to identify opportunities and implement data-driven improvements. Influence decision-making across stakeholder levels and organizations. Develop strategic relationships with internal teams and external suppliers, negotiating agreements and aligning objectives. Navigate regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation for long-term stability. Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership, outlining trade-offs and impacts. Implement best practices and standard work to ensure sustainable process improvements, balancing short-term and long-term goals. Serve as a Global Supply Chain advisor and facilitator to internal stakeholders. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of program or project management experience 5+ years of supply chain experience Proficiency in using data and metrics for performance improvements Experience managing program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and reporting to senior leadership PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
