Experienced Accountant - Central Omaha Location / Blue Collar Locally Owned Business - HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE! We are looking for a likeminded, detailed and dependable person who can work autonomously within a collaborative team. Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Step into a hands-on accounting role where you\'ll own the monthly reporting process for this small $4M business. Enjoy a mix of heads-down prep work and review-level oversight, without the pressure of directly supervising staff. Act as a resource to others in the office while partnering with the owner to identify opportunities to streamline accounting and operations where it makes sense. You’ll also collaborate with him to understand what information is most valuable from a financial reporting standpoint, ensuring your time is focused on producing reports and insights that will actually be used and appreciated. Partner with the external CPA firm at year end - you’ll be the point person when they need something, but not alone in figuring it out. Be part of a collaborative team that supports each other; responsibilities include backing up AP and solving problems on the fly. Qualifications
Experienced accounting professional with a track record of hands-on monthly reporting for a small business. Ability to work autonomously with minimal micromanagement while collaborating with owners and external partners. Detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of producing useful financial reporting and insights. Contact and additional information
