Product Lead, Private Credit Alternatives

The Role Join us as a Product Lead for Private Credit Alternatives, where your expertise in private credit will be pivotal in delivering exceptional results and enhancing efficiency within the Fidelity Fund Investment Operations (FFIO) framework. Working in an agile team structure, you will collaborate with leaders to shape strategic decisions, define our mission, and unite the squad to achieve specific objectives. Your focus will be on ensuring our products and services meet the highest industry standards while maintaining stability and availability. In this role, you will leverage your deep knowledge of alternatives to accelerate the product roadmap and develop our operational model. Commitment to continuous learning in private credit will ensure you provide cutting-edge insights and strategies. Collaboration is key as you work closely with the Alternatives Product Area Leader, your squad, and key stakeholders to prioritize and tackle the most critical tasks. You'll foster an innovative agile culture while embodying Fidelity's leadership principles. Define and communicate the team's mission to inspire and empower squad members and stakeholders. Identify and prioritize client needs to ensure your squad effectively addresses them. Measure success using established metrics to deliver on agreed-upon outcomes. Evaluate progress and eliminate any obstacles your squad faces. Clearly present and evaluate results against set acceptance criteria. Make informed decisions to balance quality, cost, and timelines effectively. The Expertise and Skills You Bring A minimum of 6 years' experience in alternatives product servicing within an asset management, fund administration, or custodial context. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience. Advanced understanding of private credit operations, including bank loans, direct lending, and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences. CAIA and/or CFA certification is a plus. Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira is essential. Note:

The Team As the Director of the Alternatives Private Credit Squad, you will join a dedicated team of around 50 professionals committed to delivering innovative solutions in fund and investment operations. Collaborating across our operations, trading, compliance, and legal teams, we work to launch and improve investment products and services that enhance the customer experience. We prioritize quality while maintaining agility in our implementations. The base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $222,000 USD annually, influenced by job responsibilities, location, and candidate experience, among other factors. Total compensation may include bonuses and other variable pay. Please note that Fidelity's operations comply with various regulatory laws which may affect potential hiring. Most positions at Fidelity are hybrid, requiring in-office work every other week.
