POSITION OVERVIEW As an Interior Designer/Project Manager, you will engage at every stage of the design process from concept through to completion. We seek a strategic thinker with a proactive drive, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to follow-through. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in high-end residential design. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to: Support the design and execution of high-end residential projects from concept through final installation. Develop detailed technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD. Contribute to design concepts, including furniture layouts and material palettes. Source furnishings and finishes aligned with project goals. Create visual materials for clients, such as mood boards and presentation decks. Prepare proposals and purchase orders ensuring accuracy. Work closely with the Project Manager for timely execution and alignment with project goals. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to communicate design intent effectively. QUALIFICATIONS This is a full-time position with standard office hours, though flexibility is required for occasional overtime to meet deadlines. Must reside in the Chicago area, possessing a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Relocating candidates are also considered. Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture is required. 3+ years of experience in residential interior design; experience with large-scale new construction is a plus. A portfolio that reflects both your technical skills and creative vision is essential. Strong project management abilities. Proficient with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace. Familiarity with Houzz/Ivy is ideal; Revit skills are a bonus.
