Inspire trust and confidence with executive leadership. Own Supplier Relationship management and be the executive sponsor for stakeholders. Engage with management team and stakeholder team members to drive strategic initiatives effectively balancing the RFx process and the TCO evaluation of suppliers against the business stakeholder’s requirements and supplier preferences. Recognized as a company expert within his/her field. Ability to simultaneously manage highly complex projects, leading all deliverables, analytics, negotiations and project management details. These projects span regional to global scope and involve multiple functions and business areas. Manage full sourcing process for one of the strategic Outsourcing suppliers including market analysis, spend leverage, requirement development, cost model reviews, cost reductions, SOWs, contract terms, complex contract execution and monitoring, and supplier business reviews. Develop annual category management plans with stakeholders covering 1 to 3 year horizons, including spend breakdown, sourcing pipeline, process improvements, supplier rationalizations, and supplier reviews. Build accountable, timely partnerships with business stakeholders, executive management, and suppliers. Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, conduct supply-market research, pricing audits, and cost improvement analyses. Act as final point of escalation for cross-functional needs on supplier negotiation and performance management. Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree with a preference for Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent. 12+ years as a procurement professional. Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel), presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint), Oracle or similar. Must be able to work on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 remote). Work location can be at one of these sites: Canada - Mississauga, ON; US - Austin, TX; Lincolnshire, IL; Holtsville, NY; or San Jose, CA. Evening conference calls with Asia, and early mornings for CA candidates, to accommodate time zones. Travel requirements: 10-25% domestically and internationally. Preferred:
MBA. Strong familiarity with the IT hardware industry. Deep understanding of cost models and supplier strategy development. Experience in managing outsourced manufacturing (familiarity with Jabil preferred). Strong knowledge of operations, negotiations, and supplier performance reviews to drive improvement. Expertise in contract negotiations, especially high-value deals. Ability to evaluate, modify, and ensure contract compliance. Key Skills and Competencies
