Join our fun, high-energy team as a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending and put your exceptional knowledge and understanding of home lending products to good use by serving as your customers’ chief point of contact throughout the life of the loan. The Home Lending team supports you with demonstrated knowledge in this area of specialization. You will adhere to all regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting the financial products offered by Chase. Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services. Works together with bankers, meeting with their customers and introducing new clients to bankers for additional products and services. Partners with your team to create an outstanding customer experience by utilizing centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts. Develops a strong partnership with the assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories), and can function well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships. Builds role as the internal and external mortgage expert; builds and maintains good relationships with customers; and exhibits consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and knowledge of the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Minimum three years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking Knowledge of real estate market in local area Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
FHA/VA sales experience Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate Compliance & Licensing
This position is subject to the Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment offers are contingent on review of criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other information relevant to determining financial responsibility, good character, and fitness for the position. Felony convictions within the last seven years will disqualify. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act / Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements. National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 is required upon active employment. You must register on NMLS or update your existing registration to reflect your employment with JPMorgan Chase. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after your start date and timely renewal and updates.
