We are one of the fastest growing companies in Orlando, and we are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. Abacus Global Management Inc. purchases life insurance policies through a variety of sources, including consumers, financial advisors and insurance agents. The capital sources for these investments include institutional investors, hedge funds and pension funds. As a Full Stack Developer, you will work to conduct a variety of development tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in interface design and is well-versed in programming. Project management experience is a must, as this position involves independent work on various projects. Applicants should be comfortable handling several projects at a time on a deadline and be willing to problem solve and to generate innovative solutions that increase efficiency. The individual must be highly motivated to quickly learn all facets of this new and rapidly growing industry to understand our complex, multi-channel distribution network. Responsibilities
Develop efficiencies and improvements in company analytics and processes Integrate Python back-end with a CRM and Excel Sheets via VBA Learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements Discuss and plan innovative solutions to identified areas of issues Work with a variety of different departments on projects varying in scope and size Run various financial reports and valuations both internally and externally Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline 1+ year of experience in a development position Well-versed in programming languages: Python Database experience: SQL or MongoDB Data Analysis experience: Microsoft Excel Experience with source code management tools like Git Strong interpersonal skills when collaborating on projects Experience in the insurance/financial services industry is a plus, but not necessary Job Type
