Our client, a Midtown-based hedge fund, is looking to add an Executive Assistant to support their team. This role supports a Partner and a small team of analysts/traders. The majority of the work is supporting the Partner – who is busy (calendar heavy) as the day changes often and quickly. The rest of the EA role is assistant work with phones, calendars etc. for the remainder of the team. This role is also part of a small admin team that are constantly checking in with each other and helping each other out. Team orientation is important! The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, great energy, be kind, and have a "no task too small" mentality.
LOCATION: New York, NY (In office 4x week)
HOURS: 8:30am to 5:30pm with flexibility as needed
EDUCATION: Bachelor\'s Degree Required
Responsibilities
Heavy scheduling and calendar management for Partner, correspondence, phones
Managing calendars and correspondence for several analysts
Coordinating international and domestic travel arrangements
Expense tracking and processing (receipts, expense reports)
Preparing meeting materials and greeting clients and visitors
Assisting and backing up other members of the team
Ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
College degree required
5-7 years of administrative experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to multitask and anticipate needs
Ability to prioritize and handle confidential information with discretion
Strong administrative and proactive work habits
Highly developed interpersonal skills and professional appearance
Accuracy and attention to detail
