Overview
Designer II - Product Design at BetMGM. This role focuses on user-centered digital product design and collaboration within a team to build the BetMGM Sports experience, elevating the team by producing work that is user-first and design-led. Collaborate with product managers, user researchers, content strategists, engineers, and other designers on product direction and delivery in a fast-paced environment. Consider how design supports company objectives, product vision, and team goals. Clearly communicate and represent the user perspective at every level, including accessibility, usability, demographics, personas, and overall user experience. Transform insights and requirements into experiences that feel intentional to diverse audiences. Support the facilitation of workshops leveraging design thinking methods for collaboration, prioritization, and brainstorming. Understand the importance of user research and data science to define important qualitative and quantitative data; partner with those teams throughout the design and development process. Create detailed user flows, product maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity visuals based on requirements from Product Management, and communicate UX clearly to relevant teams. Understand and incorporate complex regulatory, business, and technical requirements to maintain privacy, accountability, and user control. Utilize the design system and best practices in the product design process; partner with the Design System Team on implementation and evolution of the system. Prototype user journeys and flows for user research; share early and gather feedback to iterate quickly. Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a product designer on cross-functional teams releasing consumer or enterprise products. Experience with quick decision-making and rapid iteration. Ability to break down problems and work within constraints. Experience designing high-quality digital products with significant business and technical complexity. Track record of aligning to design systems, complying with accessibility, and anticipating translations. Growth mindset and openness to feedback; able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Deep curiosity about current products, trends, software, platforms, and hardware. Proficient with Figma and prototyping tools. Portfolio with case studies showing problem framing, insights, and best-in-class digital product experiences. Experience designing for the complexity of various sports is a plus. Compensation and Compliance
The annual salary range is $101,120 to $134,827. Factors affecting starting pay include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This role is eligible for a performance-based bonus plan. BetMGM complies with state gaming regulations; licensing may be required for certain roles.
