Overview
As a Housekeeping Houseperson, you will support the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, delivering linens and supplies, and assisting with room resets. Your role ensures that both guest rooms and common areas meet HVMG’s cleanliness standards. This position reports to the Executive Housekeeper. Key Responsibilities
You will be the behind-the-scenes support for our hotel's housekeeping team, ensuring they have everything they need to provide exceptional guest experiences. Your daily tasks will include stocking housekeeping carts, delivering supplies to guest rooms, and assisting with cleaning tasks as needed. You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper. A career as a houseperson can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, such as housekeeping attendant, housekeeping supervisor, or even a managerial position in hotel operations. Education & Experience
Hotel experience is a plus. Applicants should have: A combination of education and experience. What You’ll Need to Succeed
Eligible to work in the United States Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed A warm, professional demeanor that reflects HVMG’s Culture of Excellence by showing a warm smile, friendly personality, and positive attitude This position may require a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
