Instructors are responsible for providing quality academic curriculum, instruction, assessment, and for ensuring a productive and challenging learning experience that prepares students for the workplace and/or a pathway to further education. This position promotes social justice within the division and the broader institution. Instruction format:

Blended and online delivery. Blended classes are scheduled for Monday and Wednesday 8:15am–10:35am. Both blended and online formats begin January 2026. Responsibilities

Maintain and uphold the College values of Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is required. Deliver courses in multiple modes of delivery, including face-to-face, interactive distance learning, online or hybrid/blended formats, and on-site training for external customers where applicable. Develop and deliver instructional design activities. Address and refer student concerns. Guide and support students on a one-to-one basis outside the classroom as well as in the classroom. Assist students in developing critical thinking skills to understand and apply concepts of subject matter to vocational, ethical, social, and personal practices. Maintain classroom management and monitor student progress and evaluations. Provide input and/or maintain division accreditation and student records. Integrate the college SuccessAbilities, program outcomes, and course competencies. Organize, develop, and deliver outcomes-based curriculum and assess student learning. Complete required College training and maintain the skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the position as defined by the department. Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Math OR Master’s Degree with 18 semester graduate credits in Math. Preferred Qualifications:

Reports to: Dean - General Studies Salary: $50/hr Applicant review will begin: Monday, October 27, 2025 Start Date: January 2026 Copies of transcripts from regionally accredited colleges or universities are acceptable during the application process (originals required upon hire).
