Manager, Solutions Architecture (Digital Healthcare) Overview

As a Manager, Solutions Architecture in Digital Healthcare, you’ll bridge pre-sales strategy and project delivery. You’ll apply deep knowledge of healthcare systems and technical delivery to shape, architect, and launch solutions that align with client and executive partner goals. You’ll lead architectural discovery for new healthcare initiatives or guide in-flight projects as an individual contributor, ensuring solutions are technically sound and compliant with regulatory and operational needs.

Responsibilities

Presale: Lead scoping, technical design, and work planning during the presale process while communicating your project team’s capabilities to prospective clients.

Delivery: Lead technical architecture and discovery projects, using consulting methods to refine product and technical architecture of client projects.

Subject Matter Expertise: Own a technology vertical, encompassing solution design, platform selection, implementation support, and thought leadership (e.g., AWS, Content Management Systems, hybrid mobile frameworks).

Roving Catalyst: Enhance existing project teams with architectural guidance or specific subject matter expertise.

Qualifications

Multi-platform familiarity with expertise in one or more of the following:

Front-end mobile technologies (iOS, Android, Web/JS)

Backend cloud and/or enterprise platforms (AWS/Azure)

Content management systems, analytics platforms, and other 3rd party frameworks

Healthcare industry expertise with knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, HITECH Act, and data interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and DICOM.

Understanding of current digital healthcare trends (AI/ML) and the broader healthcare ecosystem.

Experience with software estimation, work planning, and building project plans within time/cost constraints.

Ability to break down complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience delivering software in an agency/client-service environment and managing budgets/fees in commercial conversations.

Experience with repeatable frameworks and best practices to incorporate new technologies or concepts.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desire to learn mobile software development principles and to iterate product visions with clients.

Passion for applying modern processes that transform client organizations (e.g., continuous delivery, rapid iteration, agile-inspired methodologies).
