Position Overview

Position objective: Assists the Service & Training Manager, Incentive Committee and Executive Director teams, in designing, developing, and implementing strategies to support guest service initiatives and internal recognition programs. Coordinates and plans team member events both on property and off property, working with third party vendors to ensure experiences for our team members and to heighten company culture and recognition initiatives. Assists with NRWC’s training and leadership development needs. Mission and Vision

Promotion and development of a culture within the workforce that reflects the mission, vision, and values of the company. Focuses on internal/external guest service efforts to include planning, developing, and facilitating the implementation of programs and strategies to maintain a culture of exceptional guest service and ensure high level team member engagement. Leverages internal communication vehicles to ensure employee awareness, understanding and participation in programs and process improvement related to increasing engagement and building a service culture. Assists Trainer with the delivery of training offerings, both classroom style and online training for LMS. Assists with creating course content, designing presentations, researching training topics, creating training material, coordinating training schedules, and communicating with the leadership team on all training activities. Required skills and knowledge: Four years of experience in a guest service-related field Two years of experience in human resources or a related field with emphasis on confidentiality Two years of experience planning and executing company events and training Experience with HRIS reporting Six months of experience managing event budgets and tracking expenses One year of Casino experience Six months of experience working with third party vendors One year of experience coordinating employee training and events with management and executive level staff Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to speak in front of diverse audiences; prior experience in public speaking, training, and facilitation Excellent organizational, project prioritization, and time management skills Intermediate to advanced computer experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Minimum typing speed 40 WPM and ability to pass a typing assessment Ability to work without direct supervision High school diploma or GED Pass NRWC pre-employment testing Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License Preferred skills and knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or related field Certification in Red Wind’s “Service First” Program Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Advanced Adobe skills Experience with Paylocity LMS Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and stand for extended lengths of time Manual and finger dexterity for computer use and routine paperwork Ability to speak in a classroom or event setting for up to 8 hours Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and lift up to 40 pounds Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment Essential Functions

Delivers onsite training curriculum as a backup to the Trainer Coordinates new hire orientation and on-site trainings for trainers, attendees, facilities, and F&B services as backup to the Trainer Collaborates to implement and improve the Customer Service Strategy aligning employees with service excellence and performance improvement Uses group instruction and adult learning techniques to design learning activities Maintains casino learning management system in support of objectives Updates knowledge of casino business practices and training techniques Maintains training records and calendar in HRIS as backup to the Trainer Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors and venues Plans event details (venue, dining, entertainment, prizes, theme) for quarterly events and team member recognition Presents awards to team members and hosts internal events Coordinates team member events from start to finish and communicates progress to the Incentive Committee Knowledge of casino and departmental Guest Service Standards and promotions Hands-on experience coordinating multiple trainings/events in a corporate setting Produces and executes internal communication strategies to inform and engage team members Manages training and recognition program records as backup to the Trainer Assists with routine administration and reporting of guest and team member software programs Develops, tracks, and reconciles event budgets Assists with delivering the Perfect Attendance Program Conducts internal service surveys and reports results Develops response strategies to feedback data related to team member engagement Administers Team Member Raffles and coordinates team events within budget Uses online reporting to facilitate recognition programs Creates photographs/videos of events and team members to promote service culture Creates and analyzes internal engagement surveys Provides administrative support for internal committees to enhance participation Assists with training lab setup and maintenance Performs other duties as assigned NATIVE AMERICAN HIRING PREFERENCE Employment type
