Kelly Wearstler is seeking a Junior Product Designer with a multidisciplinary mindset—someone eager to explore the intersections of product, interiors, and creative development.
This role is ideal for an emerging designer who is passionate about furniture and lighting but also curious about the broader world of materiality, spatial design, and storytelling. You’ll collaborate across teams to bring design concepts to life through technical drawings, prototypes, and visual presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to concept development across furniture, lighting, and interior product design
Create sketches, renderings, and presentations that communicate design intent clearly and beautifully
Produce technical drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in Rhino or SketchUp
Support materials research, sample tracking, and fabrication coordination
Collaborate with the Interiors and Product teams to integrate design elements across disciplines
Maintain material libraries, digital assets, and documentation
Participate in creative brainstorming and cross-functional design sessions
Desired Skills & Experience
1–3 years of experience in product, interior, or industrial design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino or SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong conceptual, sketching, and visualization skills
Understanding of fabrication and materials; interest in hands-on processes
Exceptional organization, communication, and attention to detail
Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a collaborative, high-design environment
