Overview

We are seeking a talented design expert to elevate how employees interact with essential content. In this pivotal role, you will craft visually compelling and user-friendly internal web pages and microsites, directly impacting employee engagement and ensuring critical information is easily accessible and understood. Your designs will bring vital HR and employee content to life, contributing to a more informed and cohesive company culture.

Must be able to be on site in Houston for the first 2 weeks. Base pay range

$26.00/hr - $29.00/hr Responsibilities

Design and publish captivating internal web pages, portals, and microsites, adhering to established templates and brand guidelines. Develop clean, intuitive layouts that prioritize readability and ease of information discovery. Curate and update visual elements such as banners and icons, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand identity across all digital touchpoints. Collaborate closely with content owners to strategically organize information and visuals for maximum engagement and accessibility. Proactively identify and recommend enhancements to page structure, navigation, and overall user flow to optimize the employee journey. Uphold a consistent visual aesthetic and brand voice across all digital materials and platforms. Iterate on designs based on user feedback, continuously striving to improve the overall employee experience. Must-have qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. At least 3 years of dedicated experience in webpage or digital content design, specifically for internal communications or human resources platforms. A keen eye for design principles, including layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy. Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite and ServiceNow or SharePoint. Exceptional attention to detail and the proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple design projects simultaneously. Strong communication and collaborative skills, enabling effective partnership with diverse stakeholders. Nice-to-have qualifications

Prior experience designing within a corporate intranet or employee self-service platform. Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles to ensure content is available to all users.
