Graphic designer Responsibilities
The nature of the work is focused on the appearance of product, communications, or collateral materials. Graphic Design - with general direction from design management, uses advanced design skills to create original graphic designs reflecting the design ethos. Assist with ideation, concept development, and branding. Lead team projects and work independently to complete individual projects, including print, packaging, 3-D retail displays, event signage, logo systems, imagery, video, and collateral materials. Project Management - work with functional teams from initial concept development to final production and distribution; manage timelines, budgets, supplier coordination, and quality production standards. Cost Control - manage projects to stay within budgets; estimate development costs, offer production alternatives, negotiate costs, review billing, and reconcile budgets. Supplier Liaison - arrange purchasing from vendors; develop and apply vendor evaluation criteria; communicate project details and requirements to external partners. Client Liaison - act as a liaison among internal teams and outside agencies; communicate project details, requirements, scheduling needs, and graphic materials. Graphics-focused work including covering AP, FW, AX; manage seasonal graphic schematics and rapid direction exploration across collections; support hand-off to partners. Upload files into systems for cross-functional partners; maintain up-to-date schematics and PRs for hand-off; organize files in Box and across systems; stay agile in a fast-paced environment.
