Overview

Brand Development Representative (BDR) role at VetJobs. The BDR is responsible for increasing brand awareness, driving product visibility, and fostering relationships with key accounts in Tennessee. The BDR will focus on executing brand strategies at the field level, working closely with distributors, retailers, and customers to ensure the brand's growth and prominence in the market. This role is crucial for maintaining brand consistency and expanding the market share. Responsibilities

Brand Promotion & Awareness: Implement and execute brand initiatives and promotional activities at the assigned retail accounts and territory; build and maintain brand visibility through merchandising, product displays, and in-store promotions; organize and participate in local events, tastings, and sponsorships to boost consumer engagement and awareness of the brand. Account Development: Develop and manage relationships with key accounts, including retail stores, distributors, and special events; conduct regular visits to accounts to ensure product availability, provide training on product knowledge, and offer support with promotional materials; collaborate with sales teams to identify growth opportunities and secure new distribution points within the assigned territory. Sales Support & Field Marketing: Provide on-the-ground support to sales teams by identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve product placement; monitor and report competitor activities and market trends to help shape future brand strategies; track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and promotions, providing feedback to management for optimization. Training & Education: Educate store staff and consumers on the product’s unique selling points (USPs), proper serving techniques, and brand story; conduct product training sessions and brand presentations for clients and consumers to enhance brand loyalty. Market Research & Insights: Gather insights from the field regarding consumer preferences, feedback on products, and areas of improvement; provide detailed reports on customer interactions, market opportunities, and competitive positioning. Key Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred. Experience: 3+ years in brand marketing, field sales, or related roles in the beverage industry; distributor experience preferred; proven ability to execute brand initiatives at the field level; experience with customer relationship management and territory management. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, retailers, and distributors; self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment; excellent presentation and training skills with an ability to influence at the point of sale; knowledge of beverage industry trends, consumer behavior, and distribution channels; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite and CRM software for reporting and data tracking. Travel & Compensation

Travel: Frequent local travel within the assigned territory to meet clients and support brand initiatives; travel outside the territory for team building and territory expansion. Salary: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience; aggressive commission and performance-based incentives. Total compensation package $80,000+.
