Overview
The Parts Specialist supports customers and internal teams by identifying, sourcing, and supplying the correct replacement parts for a wide range of equipment. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, provides knowledgeable product guidance, and maintains organized, well-stocked inventory to keep operations running smoothly. Details

Key Responsibilities
Identify replacement parts by reviewing catalogs, computer databases, or other reference materials. Determine required parts based on inspections, customer requests, or descriptions of issues. Receive and process orders in person or by phone, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment. Pull and prepare parts from stock, issuing counter tickets or order slips as needed. Handle customer payments and obtain credit authorizations when required. Advise customers on substitute or modified parts when exact matches are unavailable. Maintain organized stockroom systemslabeling, shelving, and rotating parts as needed. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies. Provide product knowledge and demonstrate part functionality when applicable. Prepare and distribute internal parts transfers between branch locations. Support internal teams by managing incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and customer service skills. Basic computer proficiency and comfort using parts databases or catalog systems. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders, payments, and inventory. High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with equipment or machinery parts.
