Our Home Care Sales Associate is an important part of our sales team and is part of the revenue engine for the organization. This position covers the Central VA area (Mechanicsville, VA and surrounding areas).

Job Summary The Home Care Specialist Associate is a member of the Care Advantage team under the supervision of the Vice President of Sales – Central Region. The role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, conducting in-depth client consultations, and ensuring a smooth transition of new accounts to our Home Care Specialists (HCS) for ongoing relationship management. As with all positions, the Home Care Specialist Associate adheres to all Federal, State, Local and Company policies and regulations. Essential Job Responsibilities

Proactively identify, target, and cultivate new referral sources including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, physician practices, and 55+ communities.

Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive consistent new client inquiries and referrals.

Track and report weekly activity and results against growth targets using CRM tools.

Meet with potential clients and families to assess needs, explain service offerings, and recommend tailored care solutions.

Provide compassionate, knowledgeable guidance to help families understand care options and navigate the decision-making process.

Deliver a "white glove" client experience from first contact through service start.

Establish new accounts and ensure initial satisfaction and service success.

Partner with Intake and Operation teams to guarantee and help foster a seamless start-of-care.

Check in with clients and deliver client report card to accounts on how the first shift went.

Notify Operations immediately on service delivery issues.

Transition accounts to assigned Home Care Specialists after onboarding, ensuring continuity of relationship management and long-term account growth.

Conduct formal handoff meetings to introduce the ongoing point of contact. Once the first client is admitted, continue relationship management for the first 90 days and then warm handoff will occur.

Work closely with Intake, Clinical, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and timely client onboarding.

Share market insights, referral source feedback, and competitive intelligence with leadership and Home Care Specialist in the central region.

Actively participate in sales meetings, trainings, and community outreach events as well as stand ups to ensure any new leads/referrers are included as targets.

Work closely with Home Care Specialists to assist them with doing activities and community events with preferred partners.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of outside sales experience, ideally in healthcare, home care, hospice, senior living, or related field.

Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.

Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Self-driven, professional to drive new business growth who is detail oriented with the ability to plan, build and execute an account growth plan for target accounts.

Compassionate, client-centered approach with the ability to guide families through sensitive decisions.

Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory.
