Associate Sales Representative – Reconstruction (Charlotte, NC). At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. Join our Orthopaedics-Reconstruction team as a member of the Reconstruction Sales Team in an assigned territory and hospital accounts. The ASR will assist in scheduling operative cases, securing inventory, observing and consulting the surgical team on Smith+Nephew instrumentation and implants, and completing the logistical requirements associated with those cases. The role requires the ability to assimilate and learn a high level of technical information as it relates to surgery and procedures. What will you be doing?
Work with the Reconstruction Sales Team within an assigned territory and hospital accounts. Assist in scheduling operative cases and securing inventory for those cases. Observe and consult the surgical team on Smith+Nephew instrumentation and implants. Complete the logistical requirements associated with the cases. Learn and apply a high level of technical information related to surgery and procedures. What will you need to be successful?
Become a technical expert in the Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction portfolio through structured trainings and assessments. Build rapport with Sales Reps, leadership in the territory and region, surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospital staff, and teammates to enhance access to customers and provide data-driven, trusted solutions. Collaborate to develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed quota. Be team-oriented, highly attentive to detail, and flexible to work untraditional hours to support the sales force and customers. Demonstrate self-motivation and strategic ownership of your area to deliver the best solutions for patients. Develop as a results-driven professional focused on increasing sales revenue and improving patient outcomes while forming strong relationships. Provide first-class technical support to ensure product availability meets customer and patient needs. Partner with Smith+Nephew Reconstruction and Sports Medicine counterparts in the region to identify sales opportunities. Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Prefers a minimum of two years of professional sales experience Valid driver’s license applicable to current residence to facilitate travel within the designated territory Travel
Travel within designated sales territory with 2–4 overnights a month. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences. Additional requirements
