is an on-site, part-time role in Somerset County, New Jersey. The YMCA is a nonprofit dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. GSCY serves 30,000+ individuals with seven locations and 100 full-time and 950 part-time employees. Responsibilities
Serve members, guests, and program participants in a prompt and courteous manner. Act as an ambassador of the Y's Welcoming and Inclusive culture and support the organization's Cause-Driven initiatives. Perform computer/administrative tasks to best serve the branch's 10,000+ members. Engage with members to provide an exceptional experience from entry to departure. Qualifications
Possess at least three years of member/customer service, hospitality, or related experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn our database program (training provided). Excellent speaking, communication, and critical thinking skills. Experience with multi-tasking, problem solving, and conflict resolution. Ability to work in a team, be flexible, reliable, and adaptable; self-directed when needed. Fundraising experience a plus; bilingual/multicultural experience a plus. Hours and Benefits
Flexible part-time hours; weekend availability a plus.
