Job Title: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (SEM) Department: Engineering | Computer Science and Engineering College of Engineering Location: The Ohio State University (Columbus, OH) — All courses are taught in person on the University’s main campus. Duties and Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate course(s) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Curriculum/syllabus design, content and materials development, teaching, and service activities. Complete activities and provide support for developing and teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students, depending on degree certification. Present course material and guide students through assignments. Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. Demonstrate a commitment to student success. Collaborate with fellow instructors. Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in computing or a related area, or equivalent experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. A commitment to or demonstrated efforts in teaching that reflect Ohio State’s Shared Values. Desired Qualifications

PhD degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related area, OR a MS degree and 5 years of teaching experience with documentation of high-quality teaching. Experience related to teaching computing foundations, software I/II, database/data mining, cybersecurity, or theory/algorithms. Additional Information
