Full Time - Sales Associate - Plumbing - Day
This role involves helping customers with their home improvement needs, providing excellent customer service and solving customer challenges in-store.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones and tablets).
Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted or more with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
Bi-lingual skills.
Certification in a trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, or lumber/building materials).

Travel and Working Conditions This role does not require regular travel; occasional travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions vary by location and may include indoor and outdoor environments, varying climates, and typical store noise levels. Lifting guidelines limit single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used when needed. Proper training or assistance from a coworker is required for powered equipment.
