This position will be responsible for growing revenue from Tampa-based ad agencies and direct advertisers, leveraging all US markets through NBCUniversal Local OTT and digital platforms including NBC Spot On featuring Peacock. The position requires TV ad sales experience, leveraging Telemundo’s linear TV stations in Tampa, Orlando, and Ft. Myers, with emphasis on the Tampa DMA. The AE will develop an understanding of our ad products, leverage tentpole events and have solid consultative selling skills to develop solutions to meet client needs. New business, revenue closure, account relationship building, customer satisfaction, and product implementation success are key responsibilities. This sales role is focused on delivering quarterly results and meeting individual budget requirements for linear and non-linear platforms, with a focus on Tampa, Florida. Responsibilities

Develop both general and Hispanic market sales revenue from new advertisers as well as maximize revenue from assigned list (active & non-active accounts), while meeting target revenue goals defined by management for Tampa, FL. Own, manage and develop agency & advertiser relationships through day-to-day contact; involved in the entire sales cycle from conception and development of proposal through invoicing and post-analysis. Build and present consultative sales presentations, promoting NBCU’s portfolio, combining industry knowledge and market trends, reflecting an understanding of client’s business needs and delivering solutions. Work with Creative Solutions, Marketing, and Research to ensure consistent and strong execution of all solutions; collaborate with digital teams to meet client needs and ensure campaign delivery. Develop and maintain deep expertise of the NBCU portfolio including Telemundo and digital properties such as Peacock. Connect with key stakeholders within linear and digital/programmatic buying ecosystems to promote our product portfolio and secure sales. Use industry events, professional networks, and other channels to prospect new business opportunities regularly. Stay informed of industry changes and share market intelligence internally; maintain knowledge of research product updates. Participate in team and station projects and special sales events. Communicate quarterly revenue pacing reports and quarterly client progress to Local Sales Manager. Attend weekly sales meetings as directed; complete tasks such as posting, weekly forecasting, reporting, and tracking of new business prospects with manager. Aggressively build and develop strong relationships with buyers, media planners and brand managers in the assigned territory. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or relevant work experience; minimum 5 years’ experience in advertising sales or media (linear and digital), with either a media company or agency. Knowledge of the linear and digital media market. Experience in Broadcast, Cable, Digital, Streaming or relevant fields. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent driving record and active driver’s license. Must submit a resume/CV through www.nbcunicareers.com to be considered. Prior experience selling advertising/sponsorships to ad agencies and client direct. Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com. Excellent knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis. Strong collaboration and coordination skills. Professional maturity, integrity, discipline, and a positive attitude. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to identify and assess opportunities and apply resources and strategies appropriately. Ability to manage the successful execution of a sales strategy. Excellent negotiation skills. Hybrid

This position has been designated as hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
