Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a pioneer in LED lighting technology located in Hudsonville, who is actively looking to hire a qualified OEM Account Manager to oversee major accounts. The ideal candidate will be experienced in infiltrating large corporations to become a trusted partner, will be experienced in technical sales, will be highly organized and professional in their communication skills, have the ability to travel overnight up 40%, be well-versed in the automotive industry, and more. Responsibilities: Ability to quickly learn and understand specific information about the product line. Gain specific knowledge of all aspects of the customer’s business. Work closely with the technical support team to resolve any issues that arise. Develop and maintain an annual sales plan for assigned accounts. Maintain diligence in keeping the CRM system up to date. Provide technical advice and support to clients, using specific products and market knowledge. Carry out specific related projects/tasks as assigned by supervisor in a timely manner. Must be a strategic thinker with ability to execute tactical goals. Be able to initiate and develop strong relationships with others. Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team. Attend customer conferences, trade shows, and networking events as needed. Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to take initiative to proactively evaluate existing sales strategies and recommend changes, when appropriate. Ability to understand and clearly communicate the “voice of the customer” to the internal team. Ability to conceptualize new products and features that customers will value, and to develop interest with customers for new products.
