Its pipeline includes therapeutics for ophthalmic indications with unmet medical need, including presbyopia, cataracts, and geographic atrophy. Our lead asset, BRIMOCHOL PF, is designed to be the first and only combination therapy for presbyopia, with a PDUFA date of January 28, 2026. We are preparing for a commercial launch in the first half of 2026.

Position Specialty Sales Manager , reporting to the Area Sales Director. You will run a startup inside your territory—building relationships with Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, converting clinical value into adoption, and driving growth. You will be the face of the brand and the voice of the field, shaping resources, activating champions, and feeding insights to refine the national playbook.
Key Responsibilities
Own the territory plan: segmentation, call cadence, routing, and coverage across independent OD/MD practices, multi-location groups, and relevant accounts.
Deliver results: meet/exceed sales targets; manage funnel, forecasts, and activity metrics with disciplined CRM usage.
Educate & influence: lead compliant in-office data reviews, trainings, and lunch-and-learns with Eyecare professionals on patient selection, expected outcomes, safety, onset/duration, and workflow.
Translate clinical evidence into simple practice behaviors; provide staff with tools to convert interest into use; capture insights to refine messaging.
Support practice integration: position and drive adoption of an out-of-pocket therapy; set expectations for value, usage, and follow-up; utilize starter resources and patient materials.
Document customer feedback and insights; share with internal partners as needed.
Execute brand strategy and digital tools; support regional/national meetings and plans of action; share best practices.
Adhere to compliance requirements, including adverse event reporting and HCP interactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of documented sales success; pharmaceutical, medical, or related sales experience is a plus.
Eye-care or contact lens sales preferred.
Pharma launch experience preferred.
Startup experience is a plus.
Comfort with selling cash-pay/elective therapies and discussing affordability with practices and patients.
Currently have and maintain an unexpired driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Compensation The base salary range for the Specialty Sales Manager is $120,000–$160,000 USD annually. Final pay determinations depend on experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Travel to client sites; navigate various environments, including offices, outdoor settings, and transit centers.
Operate a computer and communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
Sit for extended periods, participate in video or phone meetings, and use standard office equipment.
Lift and transport materials up to 25 pounds occasionally.
