About the Role

A Regional Director of Operations at Grön leads all operational processes across multiple facilities in our East Coast territories. This includes ensuring accountability at every level, managing budgets, overseeing production and packaging, approving purchasing decisions, and driving innovation to improve systems and results. In this role we are looking for a leader who can see both the big picture and the details—connecting daily operations to Grön's broader strategy.

As Regional Director of Operations you will build and mentor high-performing teams, ensure collaboration across departments, and balance the needs of production, sales, and distribution. This position partners closely with senior leadership and acts as a driver of consistency, performance, and culture across regions. This role requires at times up to 50% travel to our facilities in NJ, NY, PA, as well as travel to other territories as needed.

We will prioritize candidates in North Jersey as the most central to our facilities but are open to candidates based in NJ, NY, & PA.

In this role you will:

Lead and oversee all operational functions across multiple facilities, starting with NJ, NY, and PA, but subject to change as we expand our offerings.

Implement operational strategy, structure, and processes in alignment with company goals

Partner with Sales and Distribution to ensure production meets demand and drives retailer sell-through

Manage budgets, purchasing approvals, and financial reporting; provide production and performance analysis to the Finance team

Hire, train, and develop management-level leaders, creating a strong pipeline of future talent

Provide performance updates and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team

Collaborate with senior leaders to develop, communicate, and implement consistent policies, practices, and standards across regions

Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement

Identify and implement innovations that streamline operations and improve results

Create a workplace culture where employees feel motivated, engaged, and aligned with Grön's objectives

Travel regularly (10–15 days/month) between facilities to ensure visibility and alignment

Maintain compliance with all state-required permits, licenses, and certifications for assigned regions

You'll be a great fit if:

You have 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, preferably overseeing multiple facilities. Expansion into new territories is preferred

You have a proven success in hiring, developing, and mentoring management-level staff

You have strong knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements

You have excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

You can analyze complex, sometimes conflicting information and make clear, decisive decisions

You have managed multi state units and have the ability to balance the needs of several business units at once

You have experience managing budgets, labor standards, production quotas, and profitability goals

You hold a commercial mindset with the ability to connect operations strategy to sales results

You believe in resilience, adaptability, and a growth mindset; able to lead through change

You are proficient with various systems such as Microsoft Office Suite or related software, ERP (we use Wherefour), and auditing software like Safety Culture.

You boast a track record of building trust, accountability, and engagement across teams

You demonstrate integrity and respect in all interactions, fostering a positive and supportive work environment

This position has a base salary of $125,000
