In this role, you will manage the accounts receivable function, ensuring that claims are submitted timely, and compliance with state and federal regulations is upheld. Your leadership will directly contribute to maximizing organizational revenue and enhancing team productivity. Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations and workflows associated with Client Financial Services, ensuring staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies and standards. Provide direction and support to staff according to an established education plan, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. Execute excellent customer service and professionalism while interacting with staff, vendors, payers, and clients. Ensure services are provided in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies and accreditation/compliance requirements. Oversee the timely submission of all claims, maintaining compliance with policies and standards. Monitor the organization’s financial health by supporting daily accounts receivable reconciliation. Strategically manage accounts receivable of $20M+ to align with target goals. Conduct quality audits and meet with team members to evaluate productivity and quality standards. Assist in developing new-hire curriculum and planning ongoing professional development opportunities for staff. Manage employee performance, including conducting annual appraisals and providing constructive feedback when required. Ensure timely and accurate submission of staff timesheets. Communicate organizational strategic directions and encourage employee engagement. Collaborate with department leadership to meet operational goals and performance expectations. Stay informed on Missouri Department of Mental Health Fee for Service programs, CCBHO, MCO, and third-party payers. Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree required. Certification in Billing and/or Coding preferred. Minimum five (5) years of experience in a healthcare environment, particularly in healthcare billing, collections, payment processing, or denial management preferred. Missouri CCBHO and MCO billing experience preferred. Position Perks & Benefits
