Job Description As a

Data Engineer

at Benda Infotech, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources, and ensuring data availability, accuracy, and integrity. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams — including data analysts, BI developers, and software engineers — to enhance data accessibility and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline Development:

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to collect, transform, and load data from diverse internal and external sources.

Database Management:

Develop and optimize relational and non-relational databases for high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Data Integration:

Work with APIs, cloud storage, and third-party tools to seamlessly integrate data across platforms.

Data Quality & Validation:

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy through robust monitoring, validation, and cleansing processes.

Collaboration:

Partner with analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and ready for reporting and analytics.

Automation & Optimization:

Automate workflows, optimize data processing, and implement best practices for performance improvement.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed documentation for data models, systems, and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data architecture.

Strong proficiency in

SQL

and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

Hands‑on experience with

Python ,

Spark , or ETL tools (Airflow, SSIS, Talend, etc.).

Experience with

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, GCP) and

data warehousing

tools (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).

Familiarity with

data visualization tools

(Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
