Role As a part of the Commercial Strategy team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the company’s strategic positioning and financial performance, with a focus on sales activities, capital investments, and pricing. By leveraging analytics and collaborating with other teams, the analyst will develop analysis and insights that identify opportunities for profitable investment and maximize value creation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain pricing analytics and recommend pricing actions that optimize both revenue and value capture.

Implement, track and analyze sales enablement platforms, with a focus on reducing friction in the sales cycle and promoting sales that generate value for Crown Castle.

Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate proposed capital investments and strategic initiatives.

Analyze demand for Crown’s services and assets, and Crown’s competitive positioning in the marketplace.

Synthesize financial and non-financial data into relevant strategy insights.

Create and maintain reporting tools & analysis to enable real time analytics and performance management.

Prepare quantitative reports for presentation to management, functional teams as needed, the board of directors, the shareholders, or others as appropriate.

Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with other company stakeholders to drive accomplishment of overall company goals and objectives.

Education/Certifications

BS in Finance, Business, Statistics, MIS, CS or other quantitative discipline

Experience/Minimum Requirements

1-3+ years of experience in a financial analysis or related position

Expectations

Knowledge of financial analysis and interpretation

Knowledge of spreadsheet applications

Strong data storytelling skills; high business acumen and ability to turn data analysis into actionable insights

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL) preferred

Experience with Alteryx and Power BI preferred

Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain trusting relationships.

Working Conditions This role falls into our hybrid work model, which is 2-days work from home (Monday and Friday) and 3-days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) to optimize collaboration, relationship building and key stakeholder engagement and may require some travel as needed.

Compensation The salary range offered for this position is $66,600 - $91,600 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
