Teach classroom welding courses face-to-face. Contribute to curriculum development/restructuring and support student success. Qualifications
Required 6000 hours of welding work experience OR a combination of an associate degree in welding technology and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested welding experience. Expertise should include GMAW, SMAW, Oxy-Acetylene, and GTAW welding, as well as cutting processes, safety, and blueprint reading. Ability to pass a background check, valid U.S. Driver’s License, and good driving record. Physical Demands Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. May require lifting average-weight objects up to 60 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Use of hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other basic office equipment. While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and use a phone. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction, organizational, reasoning/analysis, and interpersonal/communication skills are required.
