Job Summary Performs patrolling, surveillance, escorting, investigation, and intervention services to protect the safety and security of patients of all ages, visitors, teammates, staff, and property.

Job Requirements High School Diploma/GED required.

Candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years of employment as a police officer.

P.O.S.T. certification number.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Complete training from Atrium Health that includes but is not limited to: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/De-escalation, and defensive tactics, within 90 days of hire.

Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly, in both oral and written form.

GPSTC (24.0 Hours).
