PRN Spiritual Care Counselor
to join our compassionate team in Springfield, Ohio. This vital role provides flexible, as-needed spiritual support to patients, families, and caregivers during one of life's most sacred transitions. At

Key Responsibilities Provide personalized spiritual counseling and support to patients, families, and caregivers Conduct spiritual assessments within 5 days of patient admission Honor diverse beliefs while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team Offer bereavement support and facilitate meaningful conversations as appropriate

Required Qualifications Education & Credentials: Ordained, commissioned, or credentialed according to the practices of a recognized religious organization, OR Bachelor\'s degree in theology, divinity, religious studies, or seminary education Current licensure or certification as applicable
Experience & Skills: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Spiritual Care Counselor in a hospice setting (Required) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting diverse spiritual beliefs and practices Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse backgrounds Ability to provide comfort during difficult times
Position Details Job Type: PRN (As Needed) Location: Springfield/Dayton area Work Environment: On the road - travel to patients\' homes, care facilities, and other locations Schedule: Flexible based on patient needs and organizational requirements
