Responsibilities
Lead teams to deliver projects that span one or more business units. Manage resources, schedules and financials while adhering to quality and control guidelines throughout the full project management life cycle.
Manage issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery, and contribute to process improvement initiatives related to project delivery.
Administer projects day-to-day, verifying deliverables of quality within time and cost constraints to achieve the benefits defined in the business case.
Lead the project team by building and motivating members to meet project goals and milestones.
Own the full project life cycle, including successful delivery and full implementation from initiation to deployment for major initiatives or multiple smaller initiatives.
Ensure resource availability and allocation. Coordinate internal resources, third parties and vendors to ensure on-time, in-scope, and within-budget delivery.
Develop project scopes and objectives with stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility. Use verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule and costs.
Manage stakeholder relationships and third-party/vendor engagements. Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
Develop detailed project plans to track progress and measure performance using appropriate systems and tools. Identify and assess risks and facilitate resolutions to minimize risk; maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Demonstrate strong, diplomatic leadership to motivate teams of various sizes and collaborate across multiple business and technology organizations.
Work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environments, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence, with experience leading projects to completion on time and within budget.
Lead and manage multiple projects/programs with internal and external resources, holding teams accountable for performance and communicating with executive sponsors at all levels.
Influence and gain buy-in from executives, sponsors, team members, and stakeholders; continuously learn and apply new technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of seven years of experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment; advanced working knowledge of project management software and Microsoft Office.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent advanced training strongly preferred within one year.
