Our estate planning group is looking for a paralegal to join Breakwater Law in Portland, OR. We offer autonomy, flexibility, and responsibility in a collaborative, small-office environment. Experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and/or protective proceedings is strongly preferred. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are a must. We are willing to train the right candidate and are looking for a long-term employee for an intellectually-challenging, drama-free, and stable work environment. Responsibilities
Drafting and proofreading documents Communication with multiple attorneys and clients Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Microsoft Office: 2+ years (required) Paralegal, legal assistant, or other professional office experience: 2+ years (required) Drafting and proofreading: 2+ years (preferred) Employment details
Job type: Part-time or full-time candidate depending on match and schedule. Expect 50%+ of the time in person at our Portland office; additional hours may be worked remotely. Location: Breakwater Law, Portland office (9900 SW Wilshire St, Suite 200, Portland, OR 97225). Compensation & Benefits
