Position Summary: The Senior Applications Analyst - Oracle EBS is part of the Oracle Applications team responsible for support, enhancement, and implementation of Oracle Applications at STERIS. The analyst will own multiple Oracle manufacturing modules (WIP, BOM, MRP, OPM, Item Master, Inventory, Purchasing and related modules), maintain and support them, interact with business users to understand issues, gather requirements, coordinate testing, and implement solutions. Responsibilities include resolving user issues, investigating vendor support, creating tickets, and coordinating changes to production. The role will also handle development requests and projects, manage user expectations, meet project deadlines, and design technical solutions for reports, alerts, workflows, interfaces, and data conversion programs. Onboarding requires onsite presence for 3 days at Mentor, Ohio, and sponsorship options are available.

What You'll Do As A Senior Applications Analyst Project Leadership and Management - 50%

Partner with Project Manager or IT to execute and deliver according to the project plan.

Act as liaison between business and development teams.

Serve as business analyst and project lead for the area of responsibility.

Work with business partners to understand and document requirements and gaps in application functionality.

Manage change request process.

Provide daily and weekly status reports.

Coordinate with technical teams for development and delivery of software objects.

Provide input to cut‑over or migration plan.

Ensure adherence to best practices and FDA validation requirements for FDA validation systems.

Design, Develop and Configure Systems - 25%

Participate in discovery meetings and site visits.

Schedule and conduct design sessions for area of responsibility.

Document user requirements.

Prepare functional design and configuration documentation.

Work with acquisition data teams on data conversion templates.

Design and develop interfaces with boundary application owners.

Perform data reconciliation and validation.

Configure software application environments for mock, integration, UAT and production.

Research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware solutions.

Perform testing, proof‑of‑concepts and demos of new functionality.

Interface with software vendors for purchases and support.

Work with DBA and SA teams to implement changes and fixes.

Handle System Change Requests and IT incident tickets/requests.

Technical Support, System Administration and Maintenance - 25%

Maintain standardization and documentation of technology and processes.

Develop and implement training plans to support applications.

Provide technical support and maintenance of IT systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems with system configurations and hardware.

Provide escalation support for System Administrators.

The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed Required:

A four‑year degree in Information Technology or equivalent vocational field.

5+ years experience in Oracle Applications manufacturing modules.

5+ years experience in Oracle Applications environment – Application Object Library.

5+ years experience with interfaces to other applications using flat file transfers or database links.

5+ years experience in full life‑cycle implementation or upgrades of Oracle Applications.

5+ years experience designing and developing custom applications in the Oracle Applications environment.

Preferred:

Experience using middleware.

Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Pay range for this opportunity is $80,000.00–$112,087.50.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than the range listed.
