Information Systems Applications Analyst/Trainer I - Epic Ambulatory Team at Singing River Health System Location: Pascagoula Hospital, 2809 Denny Avenue, Pascagoula, Mississippi, 39581, United States Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST; occasional weekend and holiday as needed; on-call required Responsibilities

Achieves knowledge of each appropriate application and serves as a bridge between vendors, end users and team members. Conducts regular day-to-day communication with internal teams, application vendors, clinical and business representatives, and subject matter experts to tailor the different system(s) to fit the organization’s needs. Assists in performing analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of different applications; acts as a support contact and coordinates efforts and status updates with end users and operational stakeholders. Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, clinically related field or experience may be considered. Certifications: Current certification in Epic applications required within the first 90 days of employment. Must maintain Epic certification(s) including completion of required training to maintain certification. Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in developing, implementing, operating, or maintaining information systems in an integrated healthcare delivery system, including hospitals and/or clinic settings. Prior installation experience with healthcare systems databases and interfaces or with a healthcare system vendor is preferred. Assisted with project management or project execution on small projects preferred. De-escalation training completed by end of orientation (90 days). Additional Details

Reports To: Manager Information System Revenue Cycle & Ambulatory or Manager of Clinical Applications Supervises: N/A Physical Demands: Work is moderately sedentary; able to sit for extended periods and travel to other SRHS facilities as needed; repetitive motions involving keyboard, mouse, and related equipment. Mental Demands: Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in person and by telephone. Special Demands: Travel for education and may require travel throughout the SRHS service area with own transportation.
