Housekeeping Inspector – Arizona Charlie’s Boulder (Las Vegas, NV). Summary: Responsible for the efficient and orderly management of public area cleaning, servicing, reporting, and management functions. Supervise, train and inspect the performance of assigned Guest Room Attendants, Utility Porters and House Persons to ensure that all procedures are completed to the hotel\'s standards. Essential Functions
Trains Guest Room Attendants, House Persons and Utility Porters in housekeeping techniques and proper use of equipment and chemicals Executes inspection program ensuring the maintenance of the guest room areas, room cleanliness and sanitation standards Conducts pre-shift meetings so employees are informed of expectations required of them throughout their shift Controls supply materials expenditures by ensuring proper use of supplies and maintaining adequate inventory levels Inventories the supplies in each assigned storage room on a daily basis Ensures all equipment is properly utilized and cleaned after use Prepares daily and monthly reports as well as cleaning schedules Requests maintenance for buildings, furnishings, equipment and other areas as necessary Responds quickly and courteously to all guest requests and complaints Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications / Requirements
Previous experience in an EVS or Housekeeping supervisory role preferred Knowledge of proper chemical handling Previous experience with training employees Ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English Ability to verbally communicate effectively in English High school diploma or equivalent preferred Required Work Cards
