Nurse Aide Training Program at McCormick's Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. The program provides person-centered care while preparing you to earn your Certified Nurse Aide Certification. The program includes 30 hours of classroom time and 75 hours of hands-on clinical work to prepare you for the state certification test. Responsibilities
Provide assistance with serving meals and feeding; provide fresh water and nourishment between meals. Assist with personal hygiene tasks (bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves); assist with travel to the bathroom; help with showers and baths. Assist with ambulating, turning, and positioning residents. Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; record intake and output information. Provide resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; answer call lights and requests; report observations to the nursing supervisor. Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws. Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Participants in the Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible applicants. Ability to complete 30 hours of classroom time and 75 hours of hands-on clinical work. Passion for compassionate patient care and alignment with the organization’s culture.
