3 days per week JUNIOR TECHNICAL DESIGNER GENERAL SUMMARY: The Technical Design team is dedicated to crafting exceptional fitting and high-quality products for mothers. Join us in a collaborative environment where passionate individuals strive for fit and innovation. We are seeking a Junior Technical Designer to bolster our Tech Design team, contributing to both the Ingrid & Isabel brand and our national brands. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Engage daily with overseas vendors through email regarding fit, specs, grading issues, and construction feedback. Maintain and update all technical files, tech packs, and tracking grids. Coordinate and communicate internal fittings based on sample flow. Prepare for daily fittings by measuring fit samples, analyzing construction prior to fittings, and clarifying discrepancies with the Technical Designer. Document fit notes and design-requested changes during fittings. Track and ship samples while receiving and logging all incoming and outgoing samples. Organize and manage the sample closet. Serve as a trusted liaison between Tech, Design, and Production teams. PEOPLE/ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS: Collaborate with: Director, Product Development Manager, Merchandising, Production, and various design-related vendors and partners. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of sewing and construction techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational abilities and capacity to multi-task. Ability to proactively troubleshoot and solve problems. Influential communication skills. Proficient in conveying necessary pattern corrections. Strong computer skills: 3D & digital pattern programs (e.g., Optitex, Clo3D, Gerber, Lectra) Cloud-based PLM systems (e.g., WFX, Centric, WebPDM) General business applications (Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Zoom, Acrobat) Adobe Illustrator AA or Certification in Apparel Manufacturing, Design, Patternmaking, Technical Design, or equivalent experience required. Salary Range:
