Market Research Analyst

FTI . The Market Research Analyst will play a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to guide product development, brand strategy, and go-to-market decisions. The ideal candidate has experience using AI-enabled market research tools, Qualtrics or similar survey platforms, and is skilled at translating insights into actionable recommendations through clear, well-structured reports. The role requires strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and distill insights into actionable recommendations, and the ability to create professional reports and presentations for executive-level audiences. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required). Experience:
3–5 years of market research experience in a corporate, consulting, or agency environment. Proficiency with Qualtrics (or other leading survey software such as SurveyMonkey, Alchemer, etc.). Familiarity with AI-driven research tools (e.g., text analytics, predictive modeling, data visualization). Skills:
Knowledge of AI-based market research tools for data exploration, synthesis and reporting is a plus. Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, or similar) preferred. Familiarity with market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM) and advanced quantitative methods (conjoint analysis, segmentation, regression, forecasting) preferred. Experience working in cross-functional teams with product managers, engineers, or marketers is a plus. Industry familiarity:
Experience with energy, technology, or industrial sectors preferred. Responsibilities
Designs, programs, and manages surveys using Qualtrics or other survey platforms. Leverages AI-based market research and analytics tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and depth of insights. Conducts primary and secondary research for market sizing, to evaluate customer needs, competitor positioning, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Synthesizes complex findings into concise reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders and executives. Collaborates with product development, product marketing, and sales teams to align research insights with strategic initiatives. Supports advanced research methodologies such as conjoint analysis, segmentation, win/loss analysis, and usability testing. Maintains a pulse on market shifts, market size, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies relevant to FTI’s business lines (e.g., Battery Energy Storage Systems, Switchboards, Power Distribution Modules, EV Charging). Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Travel & Work Schedule
Travel: 10% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday–Friday. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role. Benefits & Culture
