Sales & Service Reps DOT (Position requires a Texas Class A CDL) – Ben E. Keith Company Join to apply for the Sales & Service Reps DOT role at Ben E. Keith Company. For more than a century, Ben E. Deliver product, invoice customers, rotate back stock, build displays, fill windows, and work up daily damaged reports. Perform route checks every afternoon and truck inspections every morning and afternoon. May supervise a helper. Build healthy business relationships and establish good communication with retail customers. Assist with delivery of Ben E. Keith Beverage products to customers. Fill in for other drivers as needed (vacation, open position, etc.). Safely unload orders at customer locations with hand truck (dolly), manual or electric jack. Organize and refill back stock, coolers, beer shelves and displays. Count, fill, and condense back stock and retailer shelf inventory; verify order completeness with customers and obtain signatures and payments where applicable. Maintain designated back stock area at customer locations and ensure it is organized and trash-free. Verify product order accuracy with customers; collect payment and signature upon delivery where required. Check in product and pallets upon return to the warehouse; complete the load sheet. Complete paperwork including deposit of checks and money orders to be turned in to the cashier. Refuel truck at end of the day. Communicate with sales staff any observed opportunities or challenges. Perform duties in varied settings (grocery, convenience, bar, etc.) and under challenging weather conditions. Ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition; report incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor. Operate company equipment safely and in accordance with company policy. Build displays as required. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck; document and report problems to be corrected. Maintain and keep the assigned company vehicle clean at all times. Meet all DOT and Ben E. Keith safety and compliance standards regarding the vehicle, and driving/loading/unloading activities. Project a friendly, professional image at all times; attend meetings as required; prioritize multiple, competing priorities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments. Good oral and written communication skills; able to participate well in a team environment. Highly motivated and results oriented with a strong attention to detail. Organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Must be able to read and write English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); basic computer skills preferred. Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., and to stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear. Must be 21 years or older to apply. Ability to operate/drive a single axle truck with a 27 ft trailer. Position requires a Texas Class A CDL driver’s license with a clean MVR. Ability to work in various weather conditions. High school graduate or GED required. Benefits
