Retail Scan Associate (Blacksburg, VA 24060)
Join to apply for the Retail Scan Associate (Blacksburg, VA 24060) role at ScanScape. This is a permanent PART-TIME role. This position estimates anywhere from 10-14 hours per week, for all stores, depending on store size and project requirements. ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store). A short video demonstrates your daily tasks and job at hand. Scan product barcodes in assigned stores using a downloadable app on a mobile phone. Collect data to support client reporting and inventory insights. Complete display scanning across the entire store weekly. Respond to client requests for specific product details through Custom Projects, which occur regularly and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours per week per store. Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain dependability and quality-driven action. Qualifications
At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach up to 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs Attention to detail and ability to work independently Deadline-driven self-starter Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi Must be tech savvy High school diploma or GED (preferred) The anticipated application deadline is 09/29/2025.
