Overview
Full Time - Sales Associate - Building Materials - Day As a Customer Service Associate, you combine top-notch customer service skills with genuine care for people to help customers feel comfortable while shopping at Lowe's. This is an excellent role for those who want to engage with customers and help them solve their home improvement challenges. Responsibilities
Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service. Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise. Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies. Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time. Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service. Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds). Guide customers through shopping or checkout. Complete other duties as assigned. Work in one of several departments based on hiring needs and skillsets, including Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services. Minimum Qualifications
6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information. 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets. Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction). Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without an accommodation. Preferred Qualifications
6 months of retail and/or customer service experience. Bi-lingual skills. Certification in a trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials). Benefits and Additional Information
