Account Executive (Print + Digital) – The Port Arthur News (Hybrid) Location: Port Arthur, TX (Hybrid: field + office/remote) Company: The Port Arthur News (panews.com), part of Carpenter Media Group We’re looking for a motivated Account Executive to help local businesses grow using our full suite of print and digital advertising solutions. You’ll prospect, build relationships, craft simple marketing plans, and close business—while partnering with teammates to deliver great results for clients. The Port Arthur News serves Jefferson County with trusted local journalism and a 7-days-a-week digital presence. What you’ll do
Sell and grow revenue across print, panews.com, email, and other digital solutions. Prospect (cold/warm), run appointments, present proposals, and close. Manage a pipeline in CRM; hit weekly activity and monthly revenue goals. Collaborate with internal teams to launch and optimize campaigns. Represent our brand at community and client events. What you’ll bring
1+ year in sales or strong drive to learn media sales. Clear communicator; comfortable presenting to business owners. Organized, goal-oriented, and proactive with follow-through. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and CRM. Valid driver’s license/reliable transportation for local client visits. Local market knowledge a plus; bilingual a plus.
