The Defence area in Frequentis Deutschland GmbH has responsibility for the German key customer Bundeswehr. We deliver and support tailored solutions in the defence sector with a focus on military air traffic control, operations and mission management, and secure communications networks. As a Sales Manager (all genders) for Bundeswehr, you are the primary contact and ensure a professional collaboration, driving new projects and the ongoing business development. You will be part of a network of ExpertsForASaferWorld. Responsibilities You manage the sales relationship with our Bundeswehr customer in the area of leadership/systems solutions. You position our innovative product portfolio in secure communications systems for military aviation in a dynamic market. You are responsible for achieving sales targets in existing business, business development, and technical-logistical support (TLB). You contribute to the execution of the sales strategy by developing business plans for new areas. You participate in the strategic development of the assigned market and technology domains. You lead and coordinate proposal teams in close collaboration with the operations management. Qualifications Completed technical or commercial studies/university degree. Minimum 4 years of sales experience in a military context, with proven success in the Bundeswehr environment preferred. Military background, e.g., officer career or several years in the defence industry. Solid market knowledge in the Defence sector with strong customer and target orientation. Very good German language skills are required; English skills are a plus. Strong communication and presentation skills across different hierarchical levels. Willingness to travel (~30%) within Germany and occasional travel to Vienna, Austria.
