Director, Pediatric Interventional Cardiology Overview: Pediatric Cardiologists at Johns Hopkins provide advanced cardiology care for children with general or complex cardiac conditions. The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking qualified candidates with leadership, clinical expertise and scholarship. We are seeking a Director of Pediatric Interventional Cardiology to join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. This position will work primarily at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center main campus. Clinical activities include cardiac catheterization lab, outpatient clinics, and inpatient rotation. Occasional travel to outreach clinics in surrounding community cities may be required. Cardiac catheterization and inpatient care are provided at the Johns Hopkins Children\'s Center in Baltimore, MD. Rank at full-time assistant/associate/professor based on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Patient care duties including inpatient, outpatient, and cardiac catheterization lab

On-call duties for pediatric and congenital cardiology and cardiac catheterization lab

Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows

Academic efforts including original research and quality improvement

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

MD/DO or equivalent; board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric cardiology; Maryland physician license or eligible

Completed residency and fellowship training; additional training and/or extensive experience in pediatric and congenital interventional catheterization required

Salary Range The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University\'s good faith belief at the time of posting.
